The UFO Agenda It's never too late to try something new. I'm 78 years old, a retired Federal executive, and I've never done a book review before. However, after reading this new book by Diane Tessman, I feel compelled to lend my voice to the chorus of applauders.I have an extensive home library encompassing a number of book cases primarily concerning metaphysical and health material. These have been accumulated over decades and date back to the time when you could get a book for about a buck and a half.
I first became aware of Ms Tessman's work somewhat by happenstance as I was reading a 1985 book by Ruth Montgomery called "Aliens Among Us." Ruth Montgomery (now deceased) was my favorite author at that time.
While I may not have all of Diane's books, I certainly have the lion's share. I have enjoyed Diane's writing for about 28 years now. However in this new book, Diane has wonderfully created something special and brand new! Here are fresh, mind-bending ideas on the origins of UFO pilots and crew - gosh, what if they are plasma beings? What if they are my great, great grandchildren? I was unfamiliar with dark plasma research and Diane journeys into the dark plasma biosphere in this new book. What if our mirror reflections are actually outside our known reality, so then beings who are our own extended consciousness are piloting those UFOs? This is in line with quantum physics research also. All this and so much more; I am really thrilled with this book which has inspiration and information found nowhere else. I know that I will be reading it again and again.

Outstanding book on the subject.
I have purchased both the version and the paperback.
I have spent hours reading thousands of UFO reports over the years to get
an idea about what is going on.
This author has more possibilities covered in the first third of the book than I was
aware of.
She is "right on target" in my opinion.
A must read!
Actually B.S. Is more like it. Total subjective load of new age ufo bunk backed by very few bits of factual data, spun up with loads of new age personal opinions, which are fine to have....but don't try and pass it all off as some scientific mind blower. In my mind, it simply just blows. Period. Where are my magic mystical mineral crystals -I have a headache...and a seven dollar hole in my wallet.
I have avidly read as much by Ms. Diane Tessman as I can get a hold of; she was long editor of UFO Digest, a very reputable online weekly journal, and as such wields significant authority in the field. Her recent book "The UFO Agenda" is a fine overview of the field. She combines the right balance of hard science and interesting speculation. Diane connects it all together. "UFO Agenda" is a very good read! I highly recommend it to anyone with interest in the field of UFOs, aliens, or extraterrestrials, as well as many connected areas, both esoteric and scientific. I give this book a full five-star rating. Thanks for recommending it to me!
In this book, Diane discusses theories and theorists about UFOs; especially those relating to quantum physics, the possibility that we are living in a computer simulation, that we may be experiencing the lifting of the veil between dimensions, and the likelihood that some reports are of plasma beings as well as time travelers. She refers to the theorists and history behind these ideas, as well as her own perspectives from her work and experiences.
However, I feel that her most important contribution with this book is the call to better understand these visitors. I felt throughout my reading, as though I were back in my childhood watching, "The Outer Limits." In so many of those episodes, we saw the characters reaching out to try to understand strange creatures, rather than recoiling in terror or fright! This is what Diane is urging us to do, to dare to go beyond the uncertainty of the unknown, to reach out and discover, and to stand up and look at what we are as well as what "they" are!
I particularly enjoyed her take on what the visitors think, what they might feel, and how/what they appear to be from her experiences and perspective! She informs, but she also challenges us to "build bridges" of better understanding with these visitors.
Perhaps the most daunting aspect of research into phenomenology, especially UFO and Unexplained Aerial Phenomena, is discovering credible sources. The field is rife with foolishness, and some outright fraud. Many well intentioned writers confuse their on fanciful preferences with "fact", presenting their perhaps plausible daydreams as if they were proven, accepted fact.
I've corresponded with Ms. Tessman for over two years. As a geophysicist and lawyer, I have offered her many opportunities to discredit herself. Not once has she done so. She, for me, is one of the most credible writers in this field. She does not make "stuff" up. She does not confuse speculation with fact. She has a wealth of personal experience which she has thoroughly tested over and over by questioning her own perceptions. She has studied for many years, and has respectfully entered into dialectic with many other credible researchers, (and some, to her dismay, not so credible). For an individual without a science degree or formal experience in the sciences, she is truly surprising in her grasp of difficult scientific issues, from quantum mechanics to deep psychology. I'd not guess at her IQ, but it is high, and more importantly, her EQ, (emotional maturit)y, is equally well developed.
Her book is authentic. You can take it to the bank. It is real, very well thought out (in the making for a number of years), yet succinctly, and clearly stated. There are no low or slow spots. It captures you quickly, and does not let go.
I am not a "professional reviewer", indeed this is my first, but I feel strongly that anyone interested in phenomenology should buy, read, and re-read this remarkable book by a remarkable lady.
